About
Allow me to introduce myself and share a bit about my background in dance and choreography. I was a competitive dancer for 10 years and discovered my passion for choreography early on, even while I was still performing. In 2022, I had the honor of representing Canada at the International Dance Organization World Championships in Slovenia, where I debuted my first self-choreographed solo and duet. I followed that with another original solo for the 2022–2023 season, and all of these pieces received recognition and placements both regionally and internationally.
Throughout 2023 and 2024, I continued to grow as a choreographer, creating award-winning solos and duets that consistently placed in the Top 10 at regional and national competitions. I’m proud to have received choreography awards for several of these works.
Currently, I teach and choreograph at multiple studios across the GTA, creating Contemporary pieces for groups of all sizes, as well as solos and duets. I’ve also taught at conventions and intensives and was recently selected to choreograph for Metanoia Contemporary Dance Company’s upcoming show.
I’m passionate about continuing to grow my craft and have trained with acclaimed choreographers such as Stacey Tookey and Kirsten Russell. Akira Uchida and many more and I’ve also completed training with Artistic Dance Educators.
My work is often described as fresh, creative, and unique. I strive to deliver high-quality classes and workshops that foster creativity, strong technique, and artistic expression. I would be happy to share samples of my choreography upon request.
